Exploring the tough questions about life, faith and Christ.
Welcome to this blog. This is a type of project for us, a way to explore pieces of our faith that don't always make sense, to place to explore the questions that we as college students have- even the ones that no one can seem to answer.
This blog is dedicated to all of the questions that we don't have answers to, to highlighting the differences and similarities between us that we don't see in day to day life.
We have spent a lot of time thinking about the ways that students can live on a relatively small campus and yet hardly see all the ways that we are similar. We seem prone, as humans, to notice the differences first. We want to explore these ideas, to look at the ways that we as students and young people of faith are far more similar than we realize. We want to find the faith and the questions, doubts, fears and joys that unite us.
What kind of things will you see on this blog? This blog will be a place to explore, learn and grow. We will explore ideas, questions and personal beliefs with a variety of different types of art. In the beginning God created- so we create to know God. Writing, photography, videography, poetry, spoken word. This is a blog but we want to make it a wide open place, a cathedral to paint with ideas and vision. Let's cover this page in inspiration, in our bold questions, in our timid answers and in so doing let's explore the way that we are one people, that we are more similar than different- that we are all experiencing this thing called life together.
Stay posted to see how you can help us with creating- we want this to be a page that is covered in work from fellow students and we will be asking tough questions that we want help in answering. We will be posting challenging questions later on in the semester on Instagram and this blog, so stay tuned if you would like a chance to help us build this page up with your art, answers and ideas.
A project focused on helping students learn and grow together; exploring the ways that we are part of a group of people who are learning and growing alongside us.
There is unity in the differences- this project is to illustrate the beauty in those differences.
